The French A-level course, beyond GCSE.
AQA prescribes themes and grammar for A-level French but no word list, so this course builds its vocabulary from the 5,000 most frequent French words and the lesson-library groups around them. It assumes the GCSE course and never re-teaches it: GCSE words and grammar are taken as read, so it starts with the function words and verbs beyond GCSE, then the vocabulary of the specification's themes. 3,994 words across 43 chapters, with the AQA grammar list interleaved.
