post/pəʊst/The system that carries letters from place to place, and the letters that arrive. Americans call this the mail.
drag/dræɡ/To pull something heavy along the ground behind you.
thief/θiːf/A person who takes things that belong to someone else.
practice/ˈpræk.tɪs/Doing something again and again so that you get better at it. In Britain the verb is spelt "practise".
