duty/ˈdʒuːti/Something you must do because it is right, or because it is part of your job.
north/nɔːθ/The direction that is on your left when you face the rising sun. It is the opposite of south.
engine/ˈendʒɪn/The part of a machine that uses fuel or power to make it move.
madam/ˈmædəm/A polite word used when you speak to a woman you do not know. The word for a man is sir.
level/ˈlev(ə)l/How high, how much, or how good something is when you compare it with other things.
bottle/ˈbɒt.əl/A tall container with a narrow top, used to hold water and other drinks.
chicken/ˈtʃɪk.ɪn/A farm bird that people keep for its eggs and its meat.
