village/ˈvɪl.ɪdʒ/A small group of houses and buildings in the country, smaller than a town.
planet/ˈplænɪt/A very large round object in space that travels around a sun, like Earth or Mars.
ticket/ˈtɪkɪt/A small piece of paper or card that shows you have paid to travel, or to go into a place.
wind/wɪnd/Air that moves across the land or sea, sometimes gently and sometimes very strongly.
strike/straɪk/To hit someone or something hard. It is also the word for a time when workers stop work to ask for better pay.
lieutenant/lefˈtenənt/An officer in the army or the police who is just below a captain.
large/lɑːdʒ/Big in size or amount; more than usual.
screw/skruː/A small metal pin with a spiral line around it that holds two things together. To screw something is to turn it into place.
especially/ɪˈspeʃəli/More than usual, or more than the other things you are talking about.
pleasure/ˈpleʒə/The happy, warm feeling you get from something you enjoy.
