bleep/bliːp/A short high sound. On television and radio a bleep is put over a rude word so that people cannot hear it.
advance/ədˈvɑːns/To move forward, or to become better than before.
quarter/ˈkwɔːtə/One of four equal parts of something.
competition/ˌkɒmpəˈtɪʃn/An event in which people try to win by being the best; also the act of trying to win.
button/ˈbʌtn/A small round thing that you push through a hole to close your clothes.
