undercover/ˌʌndəˈkʌvə/Working in secret with a false name or job, so that nobody knows who you really are.
horror/ˈhɒrə/A very strong feeling of fear and shock, or a film or story made to frighten you.
contrary/ˈkɒntrəri/Opposite to something, or completely different from it. "On the contrary" says the opposite is true.
rose/rəʊz/A beautiful garden flower with soft petals and sharp thorns on its stem, often red or pink.
poker/ˈpəʊkə/A card game in which players bet money and try to hide what cards they hold.
Korean/kəˈriːən/From Korea, or the language that people in Korea speak. It always takes a capital letter.
stamp/stæmp/A small piece of paper you stick on a letter to pay for posting it; also to hit your foot down hard.
depth/depθ/How deep something is; the distance from the top of water down to the bottom.
tragic/ˈtrædʒɪk/Very sad, usually because someone dies or something terrible happens.
