kiamaniere

Kiel does almost all the work of English "how", and that is the problem: it also means "as" and "like", and it fronts exclamations. Kiamaniere is the narrow tool that asks only about method, so it never carries any of that baggage. You cannot say kiamaniere bela for "how beautiful" - that stays kiel bela. Built from kia plus maniero plus the adverbial -e, it answers with tiamaniere or tiel, and the fuller en kia maniero says the same thing at greater length.
