plus --, the suffix for someone who does a thing professionally or as a vocation. It is one of the highest-value suffixes in the language: once you have , , and o, you can coin the rest yourself and be understood. Note that -- is not the same as English "-ist" - it marks the occupation, not the adherent of a doctrine, which is -an-. So is the exception that proves the rule, and is a Christian while o would be nonsense.
