Translation
to behave, to act
Examples
bone.
The children behaved well.
.
He behaves like a king.
strange?
Why are you behaving so strangely?
kuraĝo.
She behaved with great courage.
konduto.
One judges a person by their behaviour.
Intransitive, and the word that follows is an adverb, not an adjective: bone, never . English hides the distinction because "well" and "good" look unrelated anyway, but learners still write the adjective by reflex. Do not confuse it with , to lead or guide, which is transitive and only one letter away. Konduto is behaviour as a whole, and bonkonduta describes the child every parent claims to have.
