This is with the intensifying suffix -- bolted on, and it is one of the clearest demonstrations of why that suffix earns its place: is asking, is asking on your knees. The syntax follows exactly. The person begged is the direct object and takes -n; the thing you want takes , or an infinitive, or a clause with the volitive -u: , . Do not write - the person is the object, not a destination.
