is one of the internationalisms Zamenhof let in on purpose: if half of Europe already shares a word, Esperanto keeps it. It covers the same ground as English "system", from to a computer o, though for the latter the modern coinage has largely won. The adjective sistema means methodical, and sisteme is the adverb you want for doing things properly rather than in bursts. Esperanto itself is often praised as sistema , which is the whole sales pitch in two words.
