Free time is where a reason is easy to give. Use the linking words and add a time frame.

  • Ich sehe gern Filme, weil sie spannend sind.

    I like watching films because they're exciting.

  • In meiner Freizeit höre ich lieber Musik, denn ich singe gern.

    In my free time I prefer listening to music because I like singing.

  • Ich finde Fernsehen langweilig, aber Fußball ist toll.

    I find TV boring, but football is great.

  • Gestern habe ich einen Film gesehen und er war fantastisch.

    Yesterday I saw a film and it was fantastic.

  • Am Wochenende werde ich ein Konzert besuchen.

    At the weekend I'm going to go to a concert.

  • Ich gehe manchmal ins Theater, obwohl es teuer ist.

    I sometimes go to the theatre, although it's expensive.
