Vocabulary
Review session
Pop the words you just met by matching each one to its meaning. A couple of rounds and the batch is yours.
Cross the words you just met, clued in English. Slower than a drill, and it sticks harder.
Grammar primer
Io, tu, lui - and then you leave them out, because the verb ending already says who is speaking.
Most nouns announce their gender in their last letter and their plural in the vowel that replaces it. Then a masculine noun ends in -a.
In Italian the thing you like is the subject. Mi piace for one thing, mi piacciono for more, and anche a me to agree.
The tu command of an -are verb ends in -a, and -ere and -ire verbs keep their -i. Andiamo is let's go, with no extra word.
Read a story
A graded reader written inside the top 200 words. Every word in it is one the course has already taught.
Themed review
The people words of the first two hundred ranks: family, friends, and the polite titles Italian uses to address strangers.
Arcade review
Replay this chapter's words as games - a different kind of repetition, and it counts.
