大伟的工作

Story

今jīn天tiān小xiǎo李lǐ要yào去qù一yī家jiā大dà公gōng司sī。他tā想xiǎng找zhǎo一yí个gè新xīn的de工gōng作zuò。这zhè家jiā公gōng司sī在zài北běi京jīng。他tā坐zuò车chē到dào那nà里lǐ。

Today Xiao Li is going to a big company. He wants to find a new job. The company is in Beijing. He takes a car there.

他tā进jìn公gōng司sī,看kàn见jiàn很hěn多duō人rén。一yí个gè先xiān生shēng说shuō:"你nǐ好hǎo,你nǐ叫jiào什shén么me名míng字zì?"小xiǎo李lǐ说shuō:"我wǒ叫jiào小xiǎo李lǐ。"

He enters the company and sees many people. A man says: "Hello, what is your name?" Xiao Li says: "My name is Xiao Li."

先xiān生shēng说shuō:"好hǎo,你nǐ在zài这zhè里lǐ等děng。"小xiǎo李lǐ就jiù坐zuò着zhe,等děng了liǎo一yì些xiē时shí间jiān。

The man says: "Good, wait here." Xiao Li sits down and waits for some time.

然rán后hòu,一yí个gè人rén进jìn来lái。小xiǎo李lǐ看kàn着zhe这zhè个ge人rén,觉jué得de他tā很hěn像xiàng一yí个gè朋péng友yǒu。

Then, a person comes in. Xiao Li looks at this person and feels he is very much like a friend.

这zhè个ge人rén也yě看kàn着zhe小xiǎo李lǐ。他tā说shuō:"小xiǎo李lǐ?是shì你nǐ吗ma?"小xiǎo李lǐ笑xiào了liǎo。"大dà伟wěi!真zhēn的de是shì你nǐ!"

This person also looks at Xiao Li. He says: "Xiao Li? Is it you?" Xiao Li laughs. "Dawei! It really is you!"

大dà伟wěi是shì小xiǎo李lǐ的de老lǎo朋péng友yǒu。他tā们men以yǐ前qián在zài学xué校xiào一yì起qǐ。小xiǎo李lǐ很hěn多duō年nián没méi有yǒu看kàn见jiàn他tā了liǎo。

Dawei is Xiao Li's old friend. They were at school together before. Xiao Li has not seen him for many years.

"你nǐ在zài这zhè里lǐ工gōng作zuò吗ma?"小xiǎo李lǐ问wèn。大dà伟wěi说shuō:"是shì,我wǒ在zài这zhè家jiā公gōng司sī工gōng作zuò。我wǒ是shì这zhè里lǐ的de人rén。"

"Do you work here?" Xiao Li asks. Dawei says: "Yes, I work at this company. I am the person here."

小xiǎo李lǐ有yǒu一yì点diǎn不bù好hǎo意yì思si。他tā说shuō:"我wǒ来lái找zhǎo工gōng作zuò。我wǒ想xiǎng在zài这zhè家jiā公gōng司sī做zuò事shì。"

Xiao Li feels a little embarrassed. He says: "I came to look for work. I want to do things at this company."

大dà伟wěi笑xiào了liǎo。他tā说shuō:"没méi问wèn题tí。我wǒ能néng给gěi你nǐ这zhè个ge工gōng作zuò。但dàn是shì你nǐ要yào明míng天tiān就jiù开kāi始shǐ。"

Dawei laughs. He says: "No problem. I can give you this job. But you have to start tomorrow."

小xiǎo李lǐ觉jué得de很hěn奇qí怪guài。他tā问wèn:"明míng天tiān?为wèi什shén么me这zhè么me快kuài?"大dà伟wěi说shuō:"因yīn为wèi今jīn天tiān是shì这zhè个ge工gōng作zuò的de人rén最zuì后hòu一yì天tiān。明míng天tiān他tā就jiù走zǒu。"

Xiao Li feels this is very strange. He asks: "Tomorrow? Why so fast?" Dawei says: "Because today is the last day of the person who has this job. Tomorrow he is leaving."

小xiǎo李lǐ想xiǎng了liǎo一yí下xià。这zhè个ge工gōng作zuò很hěn好hǎo,但dàn是shì明míng天tiān太tài快kuài了liǎo。他tā说shuō:"我wǒ能néng想xiǎng一yī想xiǎng吗ma?"

Xiao Li thinks for a moment. The job is very good, but tomorrow is too soon. He says: "Can I think about it?"

大dà伟wěi说shuō:"可kě以yǐ。你nǐ今jīn晚wǎn告gào诉sù我wǒ。"他tā给gěi小xiǎo李lǐ一yí个gè电diàn话huà。"打dǎ这zhè个ge电diàn话huà。"

Dawei says: "Yes. Tell me tonight." He gives Xiao Li a phone number. "Call this number."

小xiǎo李lǐ走zǒu出chū公gōng司sī。他tā觉jué得de高gāo兴xìng,也yě有yǒu一yì点diǎn害hài怕pà。一yì天tiān以yǐ前qián,他tā没méi有yǒu工gōng作zuò。现xiàn在zài他tā有yǒu一yí个gè工gōng作zuò,可kě是shì他tā还hái没méi有yǒu说shuō要yào。

Xiao Li walks out of the company. He feels happy, and also a little afraid. A day ago, he had no work. Now he has a job, but he still has not said yes.

他tā回huí家jiā,坐zuò着zhe想xiǎng。他tā想xiǎng:这zhè是shì一yí个gè好hǎo机jī会huì。我wǒ应yīng该gāi说shuō要yào。

He goes home and sits and thinks. He thinks: this is a good opportunity. I should say yes.

晚wǎn上shàng,他tā打dǎ电diàn话huà给gěi大dà伟wěi。他tā说shuō:"我wǒ要yào这zhè个ge工gōng作zuò。明míng天tiān我wǒ就jiù来lái。"大dà伟wěi笑xiào了liǎo。"好hǎo,朋péng友yǒu。明míng天tiān见jiàn。"

In the evening, he calls Dawei. He says: "I want this job. I will come tomorrow." Dawei laughs. "Good, friend. See you tomorrow."
