都变了

Story

美měi玲líng离lí开kāi这zhè条tiáo街jiē很hěn多duō年nián了liǎo。今jīn天tiān，她tā回huí到dào了liǎo这zhè里lǐ。现xiàn在zài，一yí切qiè都dōu变biàn了liǎo。

Mei Ling left this street many years ago. Today she has come back here. Now everything has changed.

以yǐ前qián的de小xiǎo房fáng子zi都dōu不bú见jiàn了liǎo。她tā看kàn见jiàn的de，都dōu是shì新xīn的de店diàn。每měi一yī个gè门mén都dōu是shì新xīn的de，每měi一yī个gè样yàng子zi都dōu不bù一yí样yàng。人rén们men走zǒu来lái走zǒu去qù，她tā一yī个gè也yě不bù认rèn识shi。

The little houses from before are all gone. Everything she sees is new shops. Every door is new, and every look of the place is different. People walk back and forth, and she does not know a single one.

美měi玲líng心xīn里lǐ有yǒu点diǎn难nán过guò。这zhè里lǐ变biàn化huà太tài大dà了liǎo。她tā想xiǎng：以yǐ前qián的de地dì方fāng，还hái在zài吗ma？

In her heart Mei Ling feels a little sad. The change here is too great. She thinks: the place from before, is it still here?

她tā走zǒu着zhe走zǒu着zhe，突tū然rán停tíng了liǎo下xià来lái。街jiē边biān有yǒu一yī家jiā小xiǎo小xiǎo的de咖kā啡fēi店diàn。门mén一yī开kāi，咖kā啡fēi的de味wèi道dào出chū来lái了liǎo。这zhè个ge味wèi道dào，和hé以yǐ前qián一yí样yàng。

As she walks, she suddenly stops. By the side of the street there is a tiny coffee shop. As the door opens, the smell of coffee comes out. This smell is the same as before.

美měi玲líng走zǒu了liǎo进jìn去qù。她tā想xiǎng起qǐ了liǎo以yǐ前qián，想xiǎng起qǐ了liǎo以yǐ前qián在zài这zhè里lǐ的de生shēng活huó。心xīn里lǐ那nà个ge老lǎo地dì方fāng，都dōu回huí来lái了liǎo。

Mei Ling walks in. She thinks of her childhood, of the life she once had here. That old place in her heart all comes rushing back at once.

店diàn里lǐ有yǒu一yī个gè老lǎo人rén。他tā看kàn着zhe美měi玲líng，笑xiào着zhe说shuō：「你nǐ是shì这zhè里lǐ长zhǎng大dà的de孩hái子zi吧ba？」美měi玲líng笑xiào了liǎo。

There is an old man in the shop. He looks at Mei Ling and says with a smile: "You are a child who grew up here, aren't you?" Mei Ling smiles.

老lǎo人rén说shuō：「地dì方fāng会huì变biàn，人rén也yě会huì变biàn。你nǐ以yǐ前qián是shì个gè小xiǎo孩hái子zǐ，现xiàn在zài长zhǎng大dà了liǎo。可kě是shì这zhè里lǐ还hái是shì你nǐ的de地dì方fāng。」

The old man says: "Places change, and people change too. You used to be a small child, and now you have grown up. But this is still your place."

美měi玲líng听tīng了liǎo，心xīn里lǐ就jiù明míng白bái了liǎo。变biàn的de是shì房fáng子zi，是shì店diàn，是shì街jiē上shàng的de样yàng子zi。没méi有yǒu变biàn的de，是shì她tā心xīn里lǐ的de那nà个ge家jiā。

Hearing this, Mei Ling understands all at once. What has changed is the houses, the shops, the look of the street. What has not changed is that home in her heart.

那nà个ge年nián轻qīng的de声shēng音yīn，那nà些xiē高gāo兴xìng的de时shí候hòu，她tā都dōu记jì住zhù了liǎo。一yí切qiè都dōu变biàn了liǎo，可kě是shì这zhè里lǐ，还hái是shì她tā的de地dì方fāng。

That young voice, those happy times - she has remembered them all. Everything has changed, but this is still her place.
