地图 (dì tú) is the ordinary word for a map, paper or digital. Its measure word is 张, the one for flat sheets, so a map is 一张地图 even when it lives on a phone.
The location phrase is 在地图上, on the map, and it goes before the verb: 我在地图上找不到. That word order catches English speakers out, because English puts the map at the end of the sentence.
The 图 half is a productive building block worth spotting: 图片 (picture), 照片 is a photo but 图书馆 is a library, 图表 is a chart, 路线图 is a route map. Meet 图 in a new word and it is usually something drawn or laid out visually.
