Examples

Whether we go or not, I am not bothered.

He is indifferent to everything.

It does not matter, you decide.

More money or less, it makes no difference.

You say you do not mind, but really you care a lot.

无所谓 (wú suǒ wèi) is how you say you genuinely do not mind. On its own it is a complete answer, the equivalent of a shrug and an easy either way. With a topic in front of it, the topic goes first: 去不去我无所谓.

It also describes a person's attitude, usually with 对: 他对成绩无所谓, he does not care about his marks. Used that way it can sound like criticism, a person who cannot be bothered about anything.

Do not confuse it with 没关系. 没关系 forgives something that has already happened (never mind, no harm done). 无所谓 says a choice makes no difference to you. If someone treads on your foot, 没关系 is right and 无所谓 sounds oddly cold.
