Examples
.
Press the red button to start.
.
A button off my shirt fell on the floor.
.
The machine has only one button.
One word covers both senses, the one on a shirt and the one on a machine, exactly as in English. To fasten a garment is i, using the -um- suffix for the vague relation a root has to its object, and the buttonhole is a butontruo.
