is practical good judgement, the quality that stops you signing the thing before reading it. is wisdom, which is bigger and slower. Its opposite a is the everyday word for reckless, and prudento names the faculty itself. In English prudent has drifted towards the stuffy and the financial; in Esperanto it has not, so use it freely of ordinary sound decisions.
