Esperanto builds most of its weather this way rather than borrowing a separate root for each intensity, so you also get o for a breeze, o for a downpour and o for a blizzard. That is four English words replaced by one root and two suffixes, which is the whole argument for the language in miniature. covers everything from a gale to a full storm; for a hurricane proper, exists as a borrowing.
