- est la forme interrogative avec inversion de tu fais, generalement rencontree dans la construction que fais-tu ? (What are you doing?). C'est la deuxieme personne du singulier du present de l'indicatif de faire en forme interrogative inversee.
Que fais-tu ? est plus soutenu que qu'est-ce que tu fais ? mais les deux sont correctes. La forme inversee s'emploie dans les questions directes formelles ou litteraires. En conversation ordinaire, la forme non inversee avec est-ce que ou simple intonation montante est plus frequente.
