Ops, opis, f., third declension, and defective: the nominative singular is so rare that in practice you only ever meet opem, opis, ope and the plural opes, opum, opibus. The number changes the meaning, which is the thing to remember. Singular it is help or aid; plural it is resources, means, wealth.
The stock idiom is opem ferre, "to bring aid", with the dative of the person helped. A crowded family sits round it: opus, "work", opulentus, "wealthy", officium, "duty", and the goddess Ops, consort of Saturn and patron of plenty. English took opulent and, at a distance, copious, since copia is co- plus ops.
