ullus

Ullus, ulla, ullum is a pronominal adjective, so the genitive singular is ullius and the dative singular is ulli in all three genders. Everything else follows the ordinary first and second declension pattern.

It is the "any" of negative, conditional and interrogative clauses, and you will almost never meet it in a plain positive statement: sine ullo periculo, "without any danger", si ulla spes est, "if there is any hope", nec ulla causa, "and no reason at all". Its negative twin nullus is transparently ne-ullus, "not any", and where English says "no soldier" Latin usually reaches for nullus or nemo rather than the emphatic non ullus.
