Could you repeat the question?

I do repetitive work every day.

These two sentences say the same thing twice.

重复 covers both halves of the English idea: doing something a second time, and the thing itself being a duplicate. 请重复一遍 asks someone to say it again; 重复的工作 is work that grinds through the same motions daily.

The trap is the first character. 重 has two readings, and here it is chóng (again), not zhòng (heavy). Say zhòng fù and a listener will hear nothing sensible, so drill the tone: second tone, rising.

It also works as an adjective in front of a noun, usually with 的: 重复的内容 is duplicated content. When you want the sense of "repeatedly" as an adverb, Mandarin prefers 反复 or a plain 又 rather than stretching 重复.
