Conjugating -ir verbs
Present-tense conjugation for the verbs you just learned, with a worksheet to drill the endings.
The short version
The vowel shift only -ir verbs have
The -ir class brings a stem change the other two do not have: a stressed e in the stem turns to i in every form except nosotros and vosotros. Pedir, seguir, conseguir, repetir and servir all do it. Seguir adds a spelling wrinkle, dropping its silent u before the -o ending.
