aunque or sin embargo?
One joins two halves. The other needs a full stop before it.
The rule
aunque joins the two halves of ONE sentence: aunque llueve, salgo. sin embargo starts a NEW sentence that contradicts the last one, and it needs a full stop or a semicolon in front of it. Using sin embargo as a conjunction in the middle of a sentence is the commonest slip in written Spanish.
