Ch 8 · Lesson 16

Shopping

How much, too much, and I will take it: the whole of shopping in six sentences.

Why these go together

is the polite way to want something: the -us ending softens 'I like' into 'I would like', exactly as English does. It works in any shop, café or market in the Esperanto world, and the -n on what you want comes with it.
