Transitive, and that matters. You amuse somebody else; to have fun yourself you need i or sin. "Mi amuzis" on its own leaves the listener waiting for the object. The participles then split cleanly, which English blurs: amuza is the thing that is funny, is the person who found it so. Say amuza and , never the reverse. The noun amuzo covers entertainment in general and o a single diverting thing.
