Isn't it too late?
? is the one tag question for every sentence. English builds a new tag each time (isn't it, doesn't she, won't they); Esperanto puts ? on the end and never changes it: , ?, you're coming, aren't you? Use it when you expect a nod; a bare ? asks more openly.
Do not add a verb to the tag: , ? copies English isn't it. At the start of a sentence it is different: followed by the verb opens a negative question, usually expecting a yes: ?, isn't it too late? There the belongs to the verb, and the full sentence is the point.
