The whole word is plus --, and the suffix is doing exactly what it always does: making the action transitive. means the meeting itself lasted; means he kept it going. English "continue" covers both jobs with one verb, so learners write , which says the strange thing that you personally lasted the work. If the thing carries on by itself, use . If you are the one keeping it alive, use . The noun o is a continuation, and daŭre means continuously.
