This is (must) with the causative -- welded on: to make someone must. Once you have that, the whole causative family opens up, because -- does the same to any root - i to warm, to inform, to kill. The frame is : the person is the direct object and the infinitive follows bare, with no and no . a means compulsory, and o is the compulsion itself, which is a more useful noun than English obligation because it stays neutral.
