diversa

Diversa means various in the sense of several and unalike, so it nearly always turns up in the plural. Do not use it for different from, which is alia ol or malsama ol: diversaj describes a mixed set, not a comparison between two things. The adverb diverse means in various ways, and diverseco is diversity, the word the movement itself reaches for when arguing that a shared second language protects the smaller ones.
