Same machinery as every other nationality: the person is the base word, germana is the adjective, germana on its own is the language, o a German woman, and the country is o in the classical style or Germanio in the modern one. Both are current, and choosing between them is a small tribal marker among Esperantists. Watch the false friend , with a ĝ, which means a Germanic person in the linguistic sense and covers Swedes and Englishmen too. One letter, several centuries of difference.
