is moral or legal fault: somebody did something they should not have. It is not the English fault that means a defect, so a cracked wall or a broken machine has a difekto or an , never a kulpo.
The family is tidy and worth having whole. Kulpa is guilty, senkulpa is innocent, kulpi is to be at fault, and i is to blame someone, which is one of those -- forms that saves a whole phrase. sits alongside for the specifically religious sense of sin.
