Translation
hungry
Word origin
Built inside Esperanto from the prefix mal-, which flips a word to its direct opposite, plus sata, full or satisfied after eating. So malsata is literally un-full - hungry. The root sata comes from Latin satis, enough, the source of English satiated and satisfy.
