Five syllables and not one of them needs looking up: - reverses, supren means upward, is to go. Nobody has to memorise "descend" as a separate item, which is the whole argument for Esperanto's word-building in a single example. The route travelled can be a direct object - - or take a preposition, and both are correct. Watch the accusative on the destination: for going into it, for already being there.
