Word origin
From Latin structura, 'a building, an arrangement', from struere, 'to pile up, to build'. The same struere is inside konstrui and inside instrukcio, which is a useful thing to notice: three quite different Esperanto words are the same Roman builder underneath.

Another false seam. There is no -ur- suffix in Esperanto, so - does not decompose into anything: not strukt- plus -ur-, not stru- plus anything else. It arrived from the international vocabulary as one piece and it stays one piece. The -uro ending on , , and is a Latin ending that came along with the loans, and reading it as an Esperanto affix will lead you to invent words nobody uses.
The Latin root struere is the payoff, though. It sits inside konstrui (to build up), inside instrukcio (originally the equipping or building-in of knowledge), and inside , to unbuild. Four words in this course, one Roman verb for stacking things.
On usage: is the arrangement, the skeleton, the way the parts hold each other up. It is not the building. That is konstruaĵo, which is a built thing, and mixing the two is the commonest mistake here: is perfectly good Esperanto and means the frame inside the building.
