The useful thing here is the verb. Temi means to be about, and it takes the work as its subject rather than the reader: temas . English has no neat equivalent, so learners reach for clumsy circumlocutions when one verb would do. Note also that is the content of a discussion, while is a matter or piece of business you have to deal with. They overlap in translation but not in feel, and choosing when you mean the subject of a talk sounds oddly bureaucratic.
