Two ways to say in winter, and both are correct: with the preposition, or the bare adverb . The second is shorter and very common in written Esperanto, so it is worth having. Duration keeps the accusative with no preposition at all - tie . The adjective covers anything wintry, and travintri means to overwinter, to get through the season, which is the sort of one-word verb the affix system hands you without asking.
