Like all French nationality adjectives, is lowercase (un fromage suisse), while the noun for a person keeps a capital letter: un Suisse, une Suissesse. The adjective itself doesn't change for gender, but the noun does - Suissesse is the only common feminine form of a nationality noun that isn't just the masculine plus an -e.
