An opinion on its own is one word. An opinion with a reason is a sentence, and a sentence is a conversation. Say what you think, then say why.

Mi piace lo sport perché è divertente.
I like sport because it's fun.
Non mi piacciono i compiti perché sono noiosi.
I don't like homework because it's boring.
Secondo me, la matematica è difficile ma utile.
In my opinion, maths is hard but useful.
