Quinquaginta is quinque plus the -ginta ending of the tens, and it is indeclinable: quinquaginta dierum, quinquaginta navibus.
The ordinal is quinquagesimus, "fiftieth", which gave the church calendar Quinquagesima Sunday, fifty days before Easter by the usual generous rounding. The distributive is quinquageni, "fifty each", and quinquagenarius, "a man of fifty", is behind the rarely used English quinquagenarian.
