quousque

Quousque is quo plus usque welded together, "up to what point", and it asks either about time ("how long?") or about space ("how far?"). Context decides which, and in practice time wins nine times out of ten.

It is an interrogative, so in a direct question it stands first and takes the indicative; in an indirect question it takes the subjunctive, like any other question word. Every Latinist knows it from one sentence, Cicero's opening shot at Catiline in 63 BC: quousque tandem abutere, Catilina, patientia nostra? The line was famous enough within a generation that Sallust could quote it as a set piece, and it is the reason this word survives in the memory of people who have otherwise forgotten all their Latin.
