角度 (jiǎo dù) covers both senses the English word angle does: the geometric one you measure in degrees, and the figurative one you argue from.
The everyday pattern is 从...的角度 (from the point of view of), and it is worth drilling as a frame: 从我的角度, 从学生的角度, 从法律的角度. Chinese uses this construction far more readily than English uses "from the angle of", so translate it as point of view or perspective rather than word for word.
Watch the tone on 角. Here it is jiǎo, third tone. The same character read jué means a role in a play, as in 主角 (leading role), and reading the wrong one turns your camera angle into a starring part.
