Vocabulary
Review session
Pop the words you just met by matching each one to its meaning. A couple of rounds and the batch is yours.
Cross the words you just met, clued in English. Slower than a drill, and it sticks harder.
Grammar primer
The textbook puts the pronoun after the verb; spoken Brazilian Portuguese puts it before, and this course teaches what you will hear.
The regular endings are tidy; the everyday verbs fui, tive, fiz and disse are what catch learners.
Read a story
A graded reader written inside the top 600 words. Every word in it is one the course has already taught.
Themed review
The body from head to foot, then the feelings Portuguese keeps in it, and why a Brazilian has hunger and fear rather than being hungry or afraid.
Arcade review
Replay this chapter's words as games - a different kind of repetition, and it counts.
