Story
Laura . , : . , . " ", . "¿ ?"
Laura is looking for work. She has a new flat and a good friend, but now she needs something more: a job in the city. Every day she looks at her phone and asks people, but she finds nothing. "I don't know anyone here," she thinks. "Who is going to help me?"
Pedro, . Pedro . " ", . " . , ."
One afternoon she talks to Pedro, a man she knows from the area. Pedro listens and thinks for a moment. "I know something," he says. "I know someone. He's a very good man, he has a shop in the centre and he always needs people."
"¿ ?", Laura. "¿ ?" "", Pedro. " . . ."
"Really?" asks Laura. "Do you think it could work?" "Of course," says Pedro. "I've known him for years. I know he's a good person and I know he's looking for someone right now. I'll call him today."
Pedro . Laura . ". conocerte. , . ; , ."
Pedro makes the call. He talks for a while and then looks at Laura with a happy face. "All right. He wants to meet you. Tomorrow afternoon, if you can. It isn't just any old job; it's something good, and it's near your house."
Laura . , . ", Pedro", . " , muchas ." , . . , , .
Laura doesn't know what to say. A month ago she didn't know anyone in the city, and now someone is going to help her. "Thank you, Pedro," she says. "Really, thank you so much." For the first time in a long while, she has a clear idea of what to do. Tomorrow she's going to meet the man from the shop. And, for some reason, she knows everything is going to go well.
