Perdido en la ciudad

Story

Pedro está en la ciudad. Es una ciudad muy grande. Pedro no es de aquí. Hoy tiene un tren, y el tren sale pronto.

Pedro is in the city. It is a very big city. Pedro is not from here. Today he has a train, and the train leaves soon.

Pedro busca la calle del tren. Busca y busca, pero no la encuentra. Mira a un lado y mira al otro lado. No sabe adónde ir. Hay mucha gente en la calle, y todos van muy rápido. Pedro está perdido.

Entonces Pedro ve a una señora. La señora es mayor. Pedro va a ella. "Perdón, señora", dice Pedro. "Estoy perdido. Busco la calle del tren. ¿Me puede ayudar?"

Then Pedro sees a lady. The lady is older. Pedro goes to her. "Excuse me, ma'am," says Pedro. "I am lost. I am looking for the street of the train. Can you help me?"

La señora es muy amable. Le da la mano a Pedro. "Claro que sí", dice ella. "No es lejos. Sigue todo derecho. Pasa la iglesia. Luego, a la derecha. La calle está ahí."

The lady is very kind. She shakes Pedro's hand. "Of course," she says. "It is not far. Keep going straight ahead. Pass the church. Then, to the right. The street is there."

"Thank you very much, ma'am," says Pedro. And Pedro goes very fast.

Pedro sigue todo derecho. Pasa la iglesia. Luego va a la derecha. Y ahí está la calle. ¡Es la calle del tren!
