The congress, and how to crocodile
Kongreso, samideano, Pasporta Servo: the community's vocabulary is a word-building masterclass, and this lesson decodes it piece by piece.
The short version
Samideano: the community in one word
The word Esperantists call each other decomposes exactly as the course taught you: sam-ide-an-o, same-idea-member. The whole movement vocabulary works like this - kongresano is a congress-member, gastiganto a hosting-one - so learning the community's words is a word-building revision session in disguise.
krokodili - to crocodile: to speak your national language at an Esperanto event
That's the gist. The full article goes deeper - more examples, the edge cases, the why - and the practice below scores like a vocabulary session and earns the same XP.
