Do not be alarmed by finding this in a top-1000 list. It is an artefact of the corpus: early Esperanto literature was overwhelmingly translated from Russian and Polish, so a Russian feudal rank turns up far more often here than its usefulness to a modern learner justifies. Learn it as a reading word, recognise it in a nineteenth-century text, and do not go hunting for chances to use it. The one genuine trap is that it looks like , to bark, plus -, a collection, which would give you a pack of barking. It is not that. It is a borrowed noun.
