- reverses cleanly, and the result splits the way the English pair unhappy and unfortunate does: of a person it means miserable, of an event it means ill-starred. o as a noun is a misfortune or a disaster, which is a heavier word than the adjective suggests. Beware writing nefeliĉa: - only negates, so it would mean not particularly happy, whereas - gives you the full opposite pole.
